Individual Lessons
Whether you’re brand new to golf, looking to straighten out your drive, or a low-handicap player fine-tuning a specific shot, our instruction programs are designed to meet you where you are. With over 20 years of combined teaching experience, our PGA Teaching Professional and Above Par instructors provide personalized coaching to help you improve with confidence. Lessons are conducted using state-of-the-art simulators, allowing instructors to analyze swing data and track progress. On-site training aids are incorporated as needed, and players leave each lesson with clear drills they can practice at home between lessons.
Youth Camps
Junior golfers are always welcome at Above Par. Our instructors are passionate about growing the game and enjoy working with players of all ages, from youth to adults. We offer multiple youth camps throughout the year featuring skill-building sessions, friendly competitions, and many opportunities to win prizes. These camps are recommended for ages 8 and up. In addition, Nick Isom, PGA Teaching Professional, owner of Nick Isom Golf, teaches the Operation 36 youth golf program through St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks. This program is held at Wicomico Shores Golf Course, with sessions offered in both the Spring and Fall, each lasting eight weeks.
